Chilye's "Quality Month" Event Concludes Successfully!

To deeply implement the requirements of the national "Quality Month" campaign, Chilye launched its Quality Month activities in October under the theme "Strengthening Quality Support, Jointly Building a Quality-Focused Nation". The initiative actively guided all employees, throughout the entire process and across all aspects, to enhance quality, stimulate innovation vitality related to quality, and deeply advance various quality improvement efforts.


1. Campaign Launch: Deployment of Work

At the beginning of "Quality Month", the company formulated a specific implementation plan to ensure the smooth progress of the activities and to help elevate the quality management level to a new height.


At the kick-off meeting, the General Manager of Chilye Technology made detailed and comprehensive plans and deployments for the specific tasks of "Quality Month". The Quality Director read out the "Quality Month" activity plan, introducing the details and clarifying the requirements.


Simultaneously, a theme signing ceremony for "Quality Month" was held, officially marking the beginning of the 2024 "Quality Month" activities.


2. Quality Training: Optimizing Control

Focusing on quality management issues, special seminars were conducted. Specialized training was primarily provided on quality system requirements such as BIQS and product knowledge. This strengthened the comprehensive management skills of R&D, engineering, and quality engineers, promoted team cooperation and execution, and integrated quality awareness throughout the entire product lifecycle.


Addressing product knowledge issues, the company organized various product knowledge training lectures, arranged for employees to watch educational videos on quality accident warnings and case studies, and carried out a special action called "Reviewing Common Quality Problems". Through "Error Correction via Quality Issues", the effect of quality education learning was continuously consolidated and strengthened, improving quality management effectiveness and encouraging employees to identify problems that are easy to make or overlook in daily work.


After layers of assessment, a total of 21 outstanding "Error Correction Experts" were selected in this activity.





3. Knowledge Competition: Fostering a Quality Atmosphere

Various departments took the "Quality Month" as an opportunity to organize QC and quality knowledge competitions. During the competitions, the participants demonstrated solid professional knowledge and agile thinking skills. The atmosphere reached its peak especially during the quick-answer segments.


Through intense competition, not only were the participants' knowledge reserves tested, but their quality management awareness was also enhanced, enabling them to analyze problems from different perspectives and multiple dimensions.


Using the knowledge competition as a platform, the events promoted learning through competition, deepened understanding through learning, and improved quality through understanding. This deepened employees' cognition of the quality culture, enriched the atmosphere of the "Quality Month" activities, and laid a solid foundation for the company's brand building and high-quality development.


4. Skills Competition: Boosting Process Standardization Construction

To encourage all employees to learn and apply SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) guides, the company organized employees to participate in "Find the Problem in the SOP". This involved improving deficiencies and optimizing steps that were difficult to understand, ensuring that every employee could understand the SOP and operate it proficiently. This strengthened employees' awareness of SOPs and the importance of standardized processes.


5. Quality Interview: Project Improvement Evaluation

Through face-to-face communication and mutual evaluation, quality teams engaged in in-depth discussions. From their perception of quality to its practical application in work, and further to ideas for improving quality work, employees actively put forward "good ideas" and "golden suggestions".


Outstanding Improvement Projects

1.    Reduced the excessive variety of signal wire colors for charging inlets to avoid inserting into wrong holes and reduce rework.

2.    Improved the assembly of the HVC XX 2-core flange socket safety head to increase production efficiency.

3.    Improved Mode 2 production line efficiency to increase production takt time.

4.    Improved LVM XX dispensing bubbles to reduce production costs.


Through this improvement project selection activity, the coordination and cooperation capabilities between different departments and their proficient application of quality tools were further enhanced. It ignited the team's enthusiasm for continuous improvement, innovation, and optimization, consolidated the foundation for continuously improving factory management, and promoted the implementation of cost reduction and efficiency increase.


Quality is the lifeblood of an enterprise and everlasting safety! This "Quality Month" activity greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of all employees for quality work and enhanced their quality awareness. Chilye will take this as an opportunity to conduct monthly selections of "Quality Stars" and organize "Efficiency Improvement" evaluation activities to stimulate the initiative and creativity of frontline employees and promote the improvement of product quality.
